mikael2 Posted September 11, 2007 Posted September 11, 2007 från: http://www.6moons.com/news/news.html September 07: Orbituary: Hi Srajan, I have sad news to report. Tom Colangelo, the chief electrical engineer and designer behind Viola, and formerly of Cello and Mark Levinson, was killed in a one-car crash Wednesday morning. Tom was my neighbor, living two doors down from me. I would sometimes stop to chat with him about audio and his business when he was out walking his dog. Here is the text of the announcement in the New Haven Register: "A Hamden man died in a one-car collision on the Wilbur Cross Parkway just south of Exit 59 Wednesday morning. State police said Thomas P. Colangelo, 57, of 20 Rolfe Road suffered fatal injuries when the 2002 Firebird he was driving veered right and struck the wire rope guardrail off the road while he was traveling south on the parkway at 6:43 a.m. Traffic backed up for miles as it took rescue workers until almost 11:30 a.m. to remove the car because of the way it was positioned, said state police spokesman Trooper William Tate. Once the car hit the guardrail, it then went farther south and hit trees and brush. Quote

/Bo Quote
